With Gendry’s storyline changing and him going to Dragonstone he may end up in different places:

1. He is going to meet Stannis, his uncle, and because Stannis has no sons and wants to claim the Iron Throne it is possible he will take Gendry on as his heir. Gendry will spend the next few years being educated and groomed for court.This seems far-fetched but not impossible.

2. Noble or not, Gendry will go with Stannis and his army to the Wall to help the Night’s Watch (with a possibility of meeting Jon Snow? :3).

3. Mel wants to sacrifice Gendry as she did with Edric, and Davos smuggles him to Braavos (where a certain lady wolf also appears).

So it looks like whatever happens, the change in Gendry’s storyline will set him up for very big changes. Or they could just kill him, which is, you know, the most likely of any of these.

ok so about this Gendry/Mel sitch

Arya will most likely be taken by the Hound in 3.06

and Gendry/Mel happens 3.07

now Joe Dempsie says Gendry becomes “vengeful,” which we haven’t seen yet so I’m assuming this happens after Arya is taken

and Mel convinces him to make a Shadowbaby by using some leverage like taking “revenge” on the Hound for taking Arya

i’m just trying to shift this Gendry/Mel thing in favour of AxG ok
